Product Description

Most makeup removers work by stripping. Ours works by dissolving.

The Kingdom Turmeric Facial Beauty Bar is built on goat milk rather than water, with honey, shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil and castor oil doing the cleansing. Those oils bond with the oils in your makeup, so foundation, blush and everyday mascara lift away instead of being scrubbed off. Finely ground oats give the faintest amount of texture — enough to help, never enough to scratch.

Turmeric is what gives the bar its colour and its reputation. It has been used in skincare for centuries and is valued for helping skin look brighter and more awake — which is exactly what you want from an evening cleanse.

The bar suits most skin types, including skin that has reacted badly to foaming cleansers. It contains no sulfates, no parabens and no synthetic fragrance. Use it morning and night, or at night only if your skin prefers a lighter routine.

One honest limit: it will not remove waterproof mascara or long-wear foundation on its own, because nothing water-based will. For those, start with our Turmeric Saffron Cleansing Balm and follow with this bar.

Product Details

Ingredients

Goat milk, shea butter, honey, coconut oil, castor oil, cocoa butter, oats, turmeric, Kingdom facial essential oil blend.

That is the complete list. Nothing hidden behind “fragrance” or “proprietary blend.”

  • Wet your face with lukewarm water.
  • Lather the bar between clean hands, or work it onto a soft sponge or our Face Scrubber.
  • Massage over face and neck in light circular motions, focusing on where makeup sits.
  • Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel.
  • Follow with your moisturiser while skin is still slightly damp.

For makeup removal, use at night. For a simple morning cleanse, one quick lather is enough.

  • You wear everyday makeup and want it off without three products.
  • Foaming cleansers leave your skin tight.
  • Your skin looks dull or tired by the end of the day.
  • You want fewer products, not more.
  • You prefer a bar to a bottle.
  • You wear waterproof mascara daily — start with the cleansing balm instead.
  • You need a vegan product. This bar contains goat milk and honey.

Why These Ingredients

Goat milk — instead of water

Most soap is made with water. Ours uses goat milk, which brings naturally occurring lactic acid and fats that water simply does not have. The result is a creamier lather and a noticeably milder feel. It is why goat milk has been used in soap for centuries.

Turmeric — for a brighter look

Turmeric gives the bar its golden colour and has a long history in traditional skincare. In a cleanser it is valued for helping skin look less dull and more awake. It will not stain your skin or your towels.

Honey — humectant and lather

Honey draws moisture toward the skin and adds body to the lather. It is one of the oldest skincare ingredients there is, and one of the few that genuinely earns its reputation.

Shea and cocoa butter — the reason it isn't drying

These two are why the bar cleanses without stripping. Both are rich in fatty acids that stay on the skin after rinsing, so you finish a wash feeling soft rather than tight. Skip these in a formula and you have a bar that squeaks.

Oats — the gentlest exfoliation there is

Finely ground oats provide the faintest physical texture, enough to help lift surface buildup without any scratch. Oats are also traditionally used to soothe skin that feels irritated.

Coconut and castor oil — cleansing and lather

Coconut oil provides the cleansing power and the bubbles. Castor oil stabilises the lather so it stays creamy rather than collapsing.

Questions About
 This Bar

Will this remove waterproof mascara?

Not on its own — nothing water-based will. Waterproof formulas are designed to resist water. Use our Turmeric Saffron Cleansing Balm first to dissolve it, then this bar as a second cleanse.

No. The turmeric colours the soap, not you. It rinses away completely and leaves no tint on skin or fabric.

It should not be. The formula is built on goat milk, shea butter and cocoa butter specifically so it cleanses without stripping the skin’s own oils. If your skin feels tight after any cleanser, that is a sign the cleanser is too harsh — not that your face is clean.

Yes, most people do. If your skin is on the dry side, use it at night and rinse with water only in the morning.

Roughly six to ten weeks with twice-daily facial use. Keep it on a draining dish and out of standing water and it will last considerably longer.

Many people with blemish-prone skin use it and get on well with it, because it cleanses thoroughly without the harshness that often makes breakouts worse. If your skin is oily or feels congested, our Activated Charcoal Facial Beauty Bar may suit you better. Neither is an acne treatment — for persistent breakouts, see a dermatologist.

Four Dollars. Months Of Use.

The cheapest upgrade to a skincare routine we sell — and the one people are most surprised by.
