What Goes Into Our Soap — And What Never Does

We believe you should be able to read every word on the label. Every Kingdom Come product is made in small batches in New Orleans with clean, recognisable ingredients — and without the detergents, synthetic fragrances and fillers common in mass-produced soap. Here is exactly what we use, and why.

The Base: All Natural Goat Milk

Where most soap uses water, our facial bars use goat milk. It brings naturally occurring lactic acid and fats that give a creamier lather and a gentler feel — which is why goat milk has been used in soap for centuries. It is the foundation of our all natural goat milk soap.

Butters: Shea & Cocoa

Rich in fatty acids that stay on the skin after rinsing, shea and cocoa butter are why our bars cleanse without stripping. They are the counterweight to more active ingredients like charcoal.

Active Botanicals: Turmeric, Saffron, Charcoal & Aloe

  • Turmeric —valued for a brighter, more awake appearance.
  • Saffron —prized for helping skin look even and radiant.
  • Activated charcoal —binds to excess oil and buildup for a deep clean.
  • Aloe vera —cooling and soothing, especially on the scalp.
  • Witch hazel —helps clear product buildup at the roots.
  • Honey & oats —moisture and the gentlest natural exfoliation.

Oils & Waxes

Coconut, castor, jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed and avocado oils do the cleansing and conditioning; candelilla wax gives our balm its structure. Every one is plant-derived.

What We Never Use
