Kingdom Face Scrubber

A soft, reusable facial exfoliating scrubber that smooths without harsh scrubbing — and without the bristles that trap bacteria. Pairs with any Kingdom Come facial bar. Four dollars, and it lasts months.

Product Description

Most facial exfoliating tools try to solve a gentle problem with an aggressive answer.

Silicone brushes, motorised devices, stiff bristles — the assumption is that harder equals cleaner. It does not. Over-exfoliating is one of the most common reasons skin looks worse rather than better, and bristle brushes have a second problem: bristles stay damp, and damp bristles hold bacteria.

This is a knitted fabric round. It is soft, it has no bristles, and it works by gently lifting surface buildup rather than scouring it off. Worked with a facial bar it creates a rich lather and gives just enough texture to leave skin feeling smoother — and because it is a single piece of fabric, it rinses out completely and dries fast.

Use it once to three times a week alongside any Kingdom Come facial bar. Rinse it thoroughly after every use and hang it to dry. Looked after, one scrubber lasts months.

At four dollars it is the least expensive thing we make, and it is the item customers most often tell us they did not expect to like as much as they do.

How To Use
  • Wet the scrubber and your facial bar with lukewarm water.
  • Work the bar against the scrubber until it holds a light lather.
  • Move it over your face in soft, slow circles. Let the fabric do the work — no pressure needed.
  • Focus on areas that feel rough or congested: forehead, nose, chin, jawline.
  • Rinse your face thoroughly, then rinse the scrubber until the water runs clear.
  • Squeeze out excess water and hang it to dry.

Use it one to three times a week. If your skin is sensitive, start with once a week. Never use it on broken or irritated skin.

  • Your skin feels rough or looks dull between cleanses.
  • You want exfoliation without a scrub, an acid or a device.
  • You have been warned off bristle cleansing brushes.
  • You want to get more lather out of a bar of soap.
  • You want to try Kingdom Come without spending much
  • You are looking for a motorised or sonic cleansing device. This is deliberately manual.
  • Your skin is currently broken, sunburnt or actively irritated — wait until it has settled.

You already exfoliate daily with an acid. Adding physical exfoliation on top is usually too much.

Care & Replacement

Looking After Your Scrubber

Rinse it properly

After each use, rinse until the water runs completely clear. Leftover soap in the fabric is what makes any reusable tool go stale.

Hang it, don't leave it flat

Squeeze out the water and hang it where air can reach both sides. A scrubber left flat on a shelf or in a closed shower caddy stays damp, and damp is the problem.

Wash it weekly

Once a week, wash it properly — by hand in warm soapy water, or on a normal machine cycle in a mesh laundry bag. Air dry.

When to replace it

Replace it when the fabric starts to feel stiff, thin or misshapen, or if it develops any smell that a wash will not remove. For most people that is every two to three months with regular use.

Questions About
 The Scrubber

How is this different from a silicone cleansing brush?

It has no bristles. Bristle brushes stay damp between uses and can hold bacteria, which is why some skin professionals advise against them for facial use. This is a single piece of knitted fabric — it rinses out fully, dries fast, and applies far less pressure to your skin.

One to three times a week for most people. Start at once a week if your skin is sensitive and only increase if it stays comfortable. Daily physical exfoliation is too much for almost everyone.

It works best with one. Work it against any Kingdom Come facial bar to build a light lather — the scrubber gets more out of the bar, and the lather means the fabric glides rather than drags.

With regular use and proper drying, two to three months. Replace it when the fabric feels stiff or thin, or if a wash will not clear a smell.

Yes, though it is sized for the face. For body exfoliation you will want something larger.

Yes. Once a week, run it through a normal cycle in a mesh laundry bag, then air dry. Do not tumble dry.

Four Dollars. Months Of Use.

The cheapest upgrade to a skincare routine we sell — and the one people are most surprised by.
